Parlez Vous

So today has shaped up to be an overall good day, despite my terrible dream this morning.

It is gorgeous outside. Warm and sunny.

I am wearing a fun hot pink shirt dress, that complements my Parlez Vous OPI nails!

I looove this nail color!

Today is also a very special anniversary for me and Brandon...five years ago today we had our first kiss. FIVE YEARS!!! Gosh time just flys by so quickly. I am so unbelievably thankful that he has put up with me for that long! I'm pretty hard to put up with!

I got myself a delicious little pick-me-up after lunch, a cinnamon iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts...my fave. It was really hard to come back to the office after lunch, its so nice out I just wanted to sit on the porch and soak in the gorgeous-ness!

I also found this really neat article on Yahoo's Shine site. I love the idea of Peeps, and always buy like 5 or 6 packags in different colors around this time, but never really eat them. They are just too cute and fun to pass up. I am really going to try the S'meeps! Yum!

And on side note my Penelope is feeling much better. She is still a little slow to move around but she is on her way to recovery!

dreams.

I have bad dreams often, too often. It's really disturbing, why do I have such morbid dreams...about the people in my life, mostly my family. Well anyways I had a bad dream last night, a really sad one. I woke up three times to flip my pillow over and shake the dream out of my head but each time I fell back asleep the dream picked up right where it left off. I didn't like it.

Why can't good dreams ever pick up where they left off? That never happens.

My dearest little Penelope is hurt. I am very very very upset about this. She jumped off my bed this weekend and didn't land properly. After a day of sitting still, not eating much, and falling over (scariest part!) I took her to the emergency vet Sunday night. The vet said she looked fine and we were on our way. Nel perked back up and started moving some more. Monday I found her lying in her cage, arms and legs flat out to the side, she did not want to get up, or she can't get up. When I lift her back to her feet she seems to do okay, she will move around a little bit, but if she falls she can't get back up. I feel so bad because I can't tell how much pain, if any she is in. Bunnies don't really make noises or do anything to signal pain. She fell over a couple times this morning was was much more mobile. I just hate not knowing how she feels, my heart is very very sad right now.   And poor Cooper, he spent so much time cuddling her and comforting her but now he wants to play! I don't think he really understands, he is not getting a whole lot of attention and my boy bunny needs ALL the attention. I just hope that my Nel starts feeling better soon. I need her too, I'm too much of a worry-wart.

I already feel bad for the children I don't have yet, ahh I hope I'm not going to be a helicopter parent!

I just wish I knew what to do for Nel, I am just trying to make her as happy as she can be. I am cuddling her and loving on her. I hope it's nothing worse than just a sore arm & leg. :(

I always have a hard time coming up with a title...

I just read some "spoilers" for SAC2, they weren't really spoilers, just nail biting bits of the plot! I can't wait!

Today I have a lunch date, with some really amazing women. One of my best friends and two women that I have a great deal of respect for! I cannot wait! T-minus 10 minutes!

Tomorrow I am going to have a wild night on the town! Words do not even begin to describe how excited I am for this!

My dad surprised my mom and took her to New Orleans for  her birthday! Last night she drunk texted me- cool mom. lol. She did say that she wished I was there : )  I love my parents! They are the best. I wish they have the best trip ever!! They deserve it; this year has been crazy for them.

I had a really bad dream about Brandon the other night and I woke up mad at him, does that ever happen to you? Well I feel bad because I still kind of have this angry feeling inside. I'm going to call it PMS. But thanks alot dreams for making me angry at my babe. He didn't like it too much.

I bought really fantastic shoes yesterday, 2 pair. I deserved it.

Today is the first day I have worn my hair in its natural state, curly, since cutting it. I look like a third grader. AWKWARD....

Anyways. Let me tell you about this nifty little thing my dad got me a few weeks ago.

Snac Pac" Peperonies! What a genious invention! I made a pizza for lunch today using them! One package contains plenty of little peps for a pizza! Usually I take them as a snack to my evening classes. They work out perfectly! 

Movies!

Brandon and I saw the BEST movie ever this weekend. So good that we might go see it again this Friday. I am talking about a hysterical, knee slapping, kind of good. The movie, COP OUT, starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. I am sad because it didn't get very good reviews, but by golly I loooved it!

I watched another good movie last night, I am a little embarrassed to admit it, but I watched New Moon. I was pleasantly surprised, it was fantastic! I haven't and won't read the books. I didn't really like the first movie. But I really have to give it two thumbs up!

Alssooo....the sequel to one of my very favoritest movies ever comes out in 66 days! It will be here before we all know it. Sex and the City 2! I love the first one, after seeing it 700 million times it still makes me cry and laugh. I try my hardest on weeknights to stay up until midnight to watch SAC re-runs on TBS. It just makes me happy. : )

So excited! Woo!

I am so glad that I have seen two happy movies this past week. I am sick and tired of leaving movie theatres angry because the movie had a bad ending! I like happy endings!

A Feast.

I love to cook! I am not very good at it, but it makes me feel good.

Yesterday after work I went grocery shopping (love that too). There is something about pushing a cart and pondering over a shopping list that makes me feel like a real grown up. I love that feeling.

After getting what I needed, I prepared a feast for Brandon and our friend Kyle! I made pork chops, potatoes (cooked them in the skillet!), corn on the cob- my favorite, and brownies!

It was so fun preparing everything, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off when everything was finishing up at once.

The meal turned out to be pretty good. The brownies were a little dry, but I didn't have the correct pan to cook them in...so whatever!

But I did have a good time cooking dinner.

I did it!

I cut my hair! And I love it! It's fun and cute and not as boring as plain long brown hair! I did't really style it this moring but I got some really cool rough paste by Redken and it makes me hair really sassy! I just love it!

Yesterday was Brandon's 21st Birthday!

It started out to be a really crappy day. Brandon locked himself out of his room and locked his phone, clothes, shoes inside. He was angry. He tried busting off the door knob (boys, they do things like that) but it just made the situation worse. So we drove home. Angry. Then Brandon got a ladder and his dad's truck and drove back to Peoria, it's now like 6:00 pm. Remember I couldn't pick him up until 1:00. So he climbs up the ladder and into his second story window. When he gathers his belongings and gets back in the truck, BUPD stop him and question why he was climbing into a window. Remember Bradley is on spring break, so not many people are left on campus. I guess it was legit for the cops to stop him, but they questioned him for 40 minutes, and Brandon just does not have that kind of tolerence, especially since he was already having a crappy day! But he made it back, ate dinner and cake with his family then came to my house for presents!

My parents got him an outfit and a case of our favorite, Bud Light Bottles! (Eli wanted in on the fun too!)

Well after presents, we ventured to a bar in our town and had a few drinks. Mom bought us Goldschlager shots, and OH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOD! I don't normally take shots, because I am just a little girl, but this was so good! I was feeling it too! We had alot of fun hanging out with my parents. I have really amazing parents!

At the end of the day it was a pretty good birthday.

And this morning, I vomited (I didn't even vomit on my own birthday!) and then we went to our favorite little diner, Merry-Ann's and got big plates of slop! It acutally made me feel worse, but it was good!

 I am so excited for Brandon to finally be 21! Not like we are big drinkers...considering I was drunk off one shot and two fruity mixed drinks...but I am sure we have many wonderful adventures ahead of us!

Crime.

Today I committed a crime of fashion.

I am wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a black cami, they are all different shades. It's not that obvious, but still.

Good thing I get off work at 1:00. I need to change.

to cut....

So I have been debating for a long time, and I can not make a decision. I have been asking for advice and have been receiving mixed reviews.

Dilemma: To cut or not to cut my hair.

For a long time I had short hair. It was fun and sexy and really easy to take care of. Then I decided that I would grow my hair...long...really long. Well I made that decision over almost two years ago and my hair is just not as long as I want it to be... I want it to grow at least five more inches, but it has reached its plateau. It will not grow anymore! Ugghhh. I just can not deiced what to do.


My mom says keep it long and reach my goal of having really long hair. I think I look more polished with short hair....

Well I am officially on Spring Break!! Sadly I will be working everyday... so it won't be much of a break. But Brandon's Birthday is on MONDAY!! Soo soon. So I will only be working until 1:00 so I can go home and celebrate with him! I am so excited for my babe to turn 21! It's like I will finally be turning 21 too, even though I have been for almost 4 months!

I am excited though to have some down time from school, I am going to deeeeeep clean my room. And I mean deep clean, clean everything...even under my bed! Having my bunnies and no washer/dryer in the house my room can get a bit out of control. I dislike it very much. When my room is a mess, my life is a mess. I am also excited to read. I have TWO books I need to finish up.

T.G.I.F.

I am so excited for today and for the weekend! But first lets talk about this nifty odd little book I found yesterday at Borders... 

PENIS POKEY. Bahaha I cracked up and sent a picture of it to Brandon, I think he was a little disturbed, but I want to get it for his birthday! It is wrong and disturbing in so many ways, but oh I just love it! Inside there are all kinds of cute/silly pictures where your "Mr." will be the star...BAHAHAHA. I love it. I'm sure if these people were serious when publishing this book, or not. On the back cover it says, "play with yourself again and again" not sure about that... But man oh man do I love it!

Anyways...I am really excited for today! I am having lunch with a dear friend of mine that I have not seen in ages! Just one more hour! I am really excited to see her and catch up.

After work I am going to Stations of the Cross with my roommate and friend Monica. I am so happy to have a friend to go do "churchy" things with. Especially durring Lent. My Lenten promise is to  learn more about what it means to be Catholic. Yesterday I picked up a book called "Rome Sweet Home". It's about a married couple that grew up Christian, and made the leap into Catholicism. So far it's really interesting. I am still in the early chapters learning about their lives as Christians, trying to convert Catholics. I am really really interested to hear about their journey while learning more about my own faith and love of God and the Catholic Church. So I am thankful for Monica and her invitation to go to Stations with her this evening!

Thennnn after Stations, I am going on a double date! We are going to T.G.I.F. for some good food, good drinks, and good laughs! I can not wait! The deal is that the girls will pay and the boys drive! Since the girls are 21 and the boys are not! Only 10 more days till Brandon's big day!!

I am also looving this nice spring weather! I drove with my window down a little bit yesterday! Love it!

I'm just being jealous...

With spring break only a few weeks away I am starting to get sad that I will be staying here. I'm not going to a tropical resprt, or a far away land, I'm not even going to a crappy beach in Florida to get hammered with people that I see every week here at school. I will be here, working, not getting a tan and not having fun.

So sad.

I was on MSN and saw this link, it made me even more sad. I won't be going on vacation this year, and I def. won't ever go on a  Billion dollar vacation. Here are some pictures to make me wish I was, wish I wasn't so pale, wish I was sipping a mai tai on the bech with my babe, just forgetting about the world.

I just neeeed to go the beach! A nice beach with white sand, crystal clear blue water, and a cloudless sky. I haven't been in so long.

Television

A couple of weeks ago Brandon asked me to do something with him one evening. My response was something like "sorry I can't Grey's is on, can we do it after?" he replied with "I can't believe you make plans based on what TV shows are on," I replied with a statement of denial. I ABSOLUTELY do not base my life and plans off TV shows...well I got to thinking, I ABSOLUTELY DO! It's horrible, I am just now realizing.  Especially with the end of the Bachelor...what I am going to do on Monday night's when I get out of class? Am I actually going to visit with my roommates or go out or do homework? I am already contemplating if I should get into DWTS...I don't know, can I afford one more night of dedication to the tube? When Glee comes back my Wednesday's are taken up, my Thursday's are on overload, I just don't know if I can add another night of television obsession.... but I loooove it! Television is an escape, an out. I get lost in it, in the love affairs of the Grey's crew, the drama of the Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants, and the nerdyness of Glee. I love it. They are everything I am not, yet everything I am all at the same time.

I know people without TV's and I don't know how they survive. Maybe my love with TV is far too deep, but when you're in love it's hard to fall out of it.

Last night the Bachelor came to an end. Jake listened to the voice of his little man and picked Vienna. Maybe it's the bitch in me, but I do not know what he see's in her. I do not think she is pretty, nice, or good for him. But who am I at all to say. I am def. looking forward to May, when Allie is the Bachelorette! Yay!!!

What a weekend!

This weekend was a busy yet great weekend! Here is the play-by-play!

FRIDAY: Chi-O Kidnap. A date party. It was so much fun! We were dancin fools just having a great time. I didn't bring my camera, so I have no good photos to share.

SATURDAY: I went home. It was really nice to just go home and see my family. Dad bought me some more groceries, I will be eating like a queen for the next couple of weeks. They sent me two packages of food last week! I love it!

SUNDAY: So I have an internship as a wedding planner! It's so much fun. Yesterday we had a bridal show to attend in Bloomington. We were there passing out our sexy little magazine, Behind Every Bride, aka-BEB. We have a BEB traveling bridal show next Sunday. Should be really really exciting!  I love being a wedding planner, and I lovge haning out with  two of my favorite people, Sara and Katy! It's always a blast, never a dull moment with those two!

Today I am working a full day, but today is PAY DAY!!! Yippie! I love pay day! Tonight is also the Bachelor finale! I love Tenley. but rumor has it Jake will pick Vienna. Except I have a feeling he picks no one. That would great, because I would rather him pick no one than pick Vienna.

And one more thing...HOLY TAMOLE IT'S MARCH!?!?!? When did that happen? I love it though, I can already smell spring! It's so close! And Brandon's birthday countdown begins. 21 in 15 days! Woohoo!
