Beets me!

Yesterday I got to spend some time with one of my bestest friends, she also happens to be the fabulous owner of So Chic! So in preparation for tomorrows wedding we spend time making tissue paper "pom-poms" I guess is what you can call them. It was a very simple process, but really tedious. After working and chatting for a couple of hours we had our favorite pizza...Monicals! It's like a So Chic tradition to eat Monicals! I always love hanging out with Sara! And I can not wait for tomorrow's wedding! It's an outdoor ceremony and reception....lets PRAY that the rain stays away!

can you believe tomorrow is the first day of MAY?!?!?! Holy Tamoley!

Maybe a dinner and movie with the boyfran tonight, bed early to rest up for a long wedding!

Feeling much better...

Okay after my rant this morning I am now feeling much better.

But I started thinking...school is really ending, summer is about to begin! YAHoooo!!!

So here is the list of some of my "goals" for the summer....
-I want to take Ballroom dance classes with Brandon again. We took classes a few years ago and it was so much fun! We would love to do it again, and master some moves. :)
-I want to take Karate.... or something like that. Peoria is not the nicest place in the world...I need someway to protect myself. Plus wouldn't it be totally awesome!? And a great work out too
-Speaking of working out there is a really cool Jillian Michael's Yoga video I want to get to do on a very regular basis
-I want to play Wii more often. Since getting one (and a wii fit!) for my B-day I haven't had much time to play...well little guy, your time is coming!
-I want to read! I want to read at least 4 books this summer! Starting out small and then I will work my way up if I have time. But I want to try and read for a little bit every single day!
-I also want to stay organized... ugghhh. My laziness sabotages any chances I have of being tidy. That is going to change!
-And I want to love. I want to stay positive and focus on the good things in life! Not the crappy...just the good baby! I am so blessed but I feel like I waste a lot of time focusing on the negative. : / That too is gonna change!

YAY I am so excited for Summer!

Almost there.

just.have.to.make.it.through.this.week. (read that with some distress please.)

Then all will be good again in my life.

I am totally hating school right now...HATE. Why do teachers think their class is the only class I am in. I don't fucking want to right your dumb ten page paper that is worthless, or be apart of two separate group projects...one with five people...sorry coordinating with five busy college students just does not work out. Teachers how 'bout you coordinate with each other and not put five hundred assignments on our plates for the last week of class...then expect us to take finals in another week.

This week is also going to to be crazy because it is CHI OMEGA SENIOR WEEK!!! Which will be fun, but will add to the stress of getting my school work done.

I keep trying to channel by buddy Thomas the Train. That guy totally knows what's up.

After Thursday though it is smooth sailing. I have two finals, they will both be pretty hard, but it's better than having four! And I will have one last paper to turn in, then it's over! Junior year will be finished! I can not believe that in a matter of weeks my junior year will be done with...is senior year really right around the corner? SENIOR YEAR? Whaaaaa.....so weird. So unbelievably weird.

mk. just had to vent for a second.

Just four days of this suckfest.
then i can play.
and wedding season starts on Saturday! :) If you don't know I have an internship with a fantastic wedding planner... So Chic Events  check-check-check it out! I love it. A lot.

THIS weekend!

This weekend was a blast! I was up in Lake Geneva for Sigma Chi Formal.

Lake Geneva is beautiful...we stayed at The Grand Geneva which was probably far too classy for the frat guys and all the drinking that was going on. I would totally go back though, it was wonderful. Plus they had "sheet sandwiches"  a sheet sandwich is Brandon and I's favorite thing ever...we discovered it in Charleston this summer. It's a sheet, then a down comforter then another sheet! It's so crisp, cool and cozy...AAHH i love it! So we were happy with that!

We spent most of the weekend down at the indoor pool...since we were in Wisconsin it was pretty chilly out. The pool was fun.

I have decided I need to start working out. immediately. There is a yoga video I want to get. It's like power yoga, something. Ill try it out.

Brandon and I really  had a great time hanging out with some of our best friends and just being college kids. We had no worries and no responsibilities. It was a nice break from the hell of school winding down.

The only bad thing about being gone for a whole weekend was having to leave Cooper behind. My house mate Kristi was Coop's bunny sitter. I missed him so much and was really happy to see him when I get back. He really needs a friend. He was too bored all weekend.

[Me all bundled up while we were hanging out outside...it was so cold!]

LAST weekend.

Last weekend (not this weekend...) was really awesome, for two reasons.

1. Chi Omega Semi-Formal.
It was so much fun! I was hanging out with my favorite girls and guys just dancing the night away!
2. Friends from out of town!
Three fantastic people from out of town...were in town! The fabulous Jason, Jack and Lyndsey! I love hanging out with them and I was super pumped to practically spend all day Saturday with them! We went to Chevy's for dinner and Lyndsey bought us all shots of Patron. I am a wicked lame shot taker, so that was an interesting experience. We had delicious margaritas and good food! Then we went to the bar. I love hanging out!
Here are some pictures of our trip to Chevy's!
LOOOOVE!

It is so gorgeous outside!!! I am really hating work right now! I want to be outside!
I took this right outside of my office. No clouds, pretty trees and lots and lots of sunshine! Perfect!

After I get off work my weekend begins! My classes for tonight and tomorrow have been cancelled and I get the next two days off work! How do three different classes get cancelled in the same week? It's crazy! But I am not complaining!

Friday I leave for Lake Geneva for Sigma Chi Formal! It's going to be a great weekend with my babe and some really fantastic guys...including my number 2 - Gus and my Ginger loves - Mark and Jon plus some really cool girls - Jenny and Kaitlyn! I am pretty excited, lets hope the drama is kept at a minimum!

Ps--- I am a total *Gleek and I loved the episode last night! Hello by Lionel Richie might be my new favorite song! ....And I am getting another hair cut tomorrow. Nothing ever pleases me! lol

Milk.

I just had this random thought about milk...and I'll tell you why.

Lately I have been having some conversations with my roommates and friends about the fact that I don't really like milk. I never really have. When I was a kid it was a dinner requirement to always have a glass of milk. Well I would always drink my milk last, so it would go from cold to room temperature. And room temperature milk is not good! So that kind of ruined any chance of relationship for Milk and I. Then when I lived in my sorority house last year the house mom would put ice cubes in her milk...SICK! That really grossed me out. Plus the milk came out of bag...double sick.  I just have never been a fan of milk.

Sometimes my sour relationship (lol..im kind of funny) with milk can cause problems. Like when I go to make my favorite food...Mac n Cheese, I don't always have milk handy, or this morning when I needed some breakfast I have a box of Lucky Charms but no milk. I had to opt for a bologna sandwich (which was delicious) but prob not the best breakfast option.

Then here is where my random thought came into play...when I have children will I make them drink milk? What will I drink at dinner...how will I set a good example for my children? I know my parents were only trying to do what was best for me by making me drink milk at dinner, but it backfired. Usually for dinner I have a Pepsi...it seems to be the only beverage that is refreshing at dinner time. Maybe I will drink juice, like V8 Splash (if it's still around) or Crystal Light....hmmm....

I also think I need to start taking a calcium supplement...us girls need all we can get!

haha..I'm still giggling about my sour relationship joke. Ah I am really something else.

Some cuties

Okay, I cant bring myself to upload the pictures of Penelope from Easter. I just cant.

But here are pictures of some cute baby animals. And if you know me, you know that I loooove animals. Zoo's are my favorite places in the world. I may be 21 years old but when it comes to animals I am just like a little kid!

This found here. I stumbled upon it--and it melted my heart.

This little guy is Miles he resides at the Houston Zoo
Giraffes are one of my favorite animals. I once got licked on the face by one!

Soo cute!

Last year for spring break my dad and I went to the St. Louis Zoo. We had so much fun, my dad goes along with my goofiness, I did after all learn how to be goofy from him! We wore these totally dorky felt hats that I bought at Michaels. It was fun. This is us right before seeing the 3D show...The Life of a Log. It was actually pretty cool. lol.

This is me and a goat. I love goats. I would love to someday have a farm, with goats, horses, sheep, pigs and llamas! I don't want to use them for food or showing or anything like that, I just want my very own petting zoo! : )

Well thats my really dorky side. I love animals...in a really dorky way.

**Ps---we did wear those animal hats all day long. We got some weird looks from adults and some compliments from all the kids! :)

Love you baby girl

I am choking back the tears, I have been all morning as I sit here torchered at work. My little Penelope died yesterday. I came home from class and she had fallen over and I could tell she really was not doing well. I picked her up and held her in my arms while she slipped away. It makes me feel so warm inside to know that she waited for her mommy to come back and nuzzle her before she went, but it also breaks my heart because I was in class for so long yesterday. I don't know how long she waited for me. But I am sure glad she did. She knows she was a very loved bunny, and I happy that I had her in my life. I am happy that I got to understand her and all of her silly little bunny traits. The way she would jump when she was happy and the way she would sit at my feet and beg me to pick her up, the way she would lick my face and sometimes sneak in a startling bite (rude!) but I loved her tremendous amouts and I miss her terribly. Brandon and I took her to my parents house to be burried in the back yard. Brandon even picked some really pretty flowers for her, that I know she would have loved. She was a verrrrry girly bunny. Penelope I love you very much baby girl. Hope you are having fun in Heaven playing with Bradley and Dinkey...don't take any of their crap, they were crazy dogs!

The worst thing about this whole situation, well the two worst things is that she was fine! After getting hurt last week she started to feel much better. She was hopping and jumping, and giving kisses again and playing with Cooper. This really was out of the blue, and that breaks my heart. I am happy though that she got to be a pretty Easter bunny this year, she loved that. The other thing is Cooper. He is really sad. He doesn't know where his girlfriend went. I hate it when he pops his head in the cage and looks for her, or when he stand up on his back legs to see if she is on my bed with her. He hates being alone. He will need a friend soon. I am gone too much for him to be alone. Poor Cooper, his heart is broken. He could tell when Brandon and I cried yesterday and hugged her tightly, Cooper knew. Bunnies are very smart. They were so in love, I feel really bad for my baby boy.

I keep trying to remeber this, Everything Happends For A Reason.

I'll post some pictures when I get off work.
