Hoot hoot, your cute.

"Anyone can be passionate, but it takes real lovers to be silly."
-Rose Franken

Have I said how lucky I am to have a wonderful boyfriend? Well I am. I am so lucky. We were talking the other day about how we are both so dorky and silly. I really love how we let our dorky sides shine. It's perfect.

Gosh, am I a huge sap or what? Grrrr....I miss Jeffrey. Can't wait till Friday!

So I started watching Dexter. I watched disk one of season one last night, and it was pretty good. I'm not hooked yet, not dying to know what happens next, but I will say I am a little curious. Jeff loves it and the guy at Blockbuster told me that I would love it (because we are bff's and all.). So I will watch disk two tonight and hopefully I will like it a little more.  It's a little creepy...but in a not meant to be creepy sort of way, ya know?

I got a new Owl Mug...isn't he cute?
I also got two other mugs, that I will make an appearance sometime. Yepp I love mugs, almost as much as I love coffee!

I'm in the process of doing some big things...I'll tell you about them when I get good news! I'll keep it in for now, in case I get bad news. lol.

Happy Wednesday!

Merry Merry Christmas

Even though I am glad Christmas music is off the radio, I am sad to see Christmas go.

One of my favorite things to do, is wrap presents! I love to pick out wrapping paper, and coordinating ribbons and bows and wrap away!

These are the presents from me to my brother, mom, and dad. I got my brother the movie, McGruber, which is actually hilarious! I got my mom some jewelry, and my dad Kid Rock concert tickets and his new CD.  Aren't the packages just lovely though? Yeah, I was kind of proud.

But with wrapping presents comes...a MESS!
Even though my packages look nice, I am not the best wrapper. I measure wrong, because I am lazy. I don't trim enough off, because I don't want to cut off too much paper then have to do it all again. So I get left with a big mess!

Christmas was great this year. I got to see my extended family, hang out with my immediate family and relax. Usually Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are h.e.c.t.i.c. Our holiday tradition is usually to drive to Indy, back home, back to Indy and then back home again. But for the past two years we have done away with driving back to Indy on Christmas day. So we go to the movies instead.
This year we saw  The Fighter and I thought it was really good. [Last year we saw Sherlock Holmes, it was not so good.] Mark Wahlberg is fantastic, but Christian Bale is amazing! ...next movie to see Black Swan!

Jeffrey came the day after Christmas to visit, which made me so happy. I hate being away from him. He also got me the best present ever!! A PG85 Jersey! Woohoo, I am pretty pumped about that!
Now I only have to wait until Friday to see him again!

Also got my nails painted OPI's Sparkle-licious. LOVE IT!
Happy Tuesday.
Happy last few days of 2010.

Booky Wook 2

I really want this book. I love Russel Brand and I love Katy Perry; and I really love them together.

So I was on Amazon, checking out how much this baby costs and decided to flip through the book and came across this;
" I knew I'd marry her on that first date,"
"She chose me, bottled me and cuffed me. And now this is my life, my girl, this beautiful woman. Just her and the revolution."
Oh my God, is that not Romantic?
Russel, I didn't know you had that in you.
Jeffrey take note.  ;) haha j/k, you are pretty romantic.
So after Christmas, once my bank account beefs back up this bad boy will be mine :)

I recently got a book to read over xmas, and so far it is pretty good.
Earnest Hemingway's, A Farewell to Arms
Hopefully I can get it done this weekend in the car on the way to Indy
I love me a little Hemingway.

Here are a few other items on my Amazon wish list...yes I have an Amazon problem:
* The Great Gatsby... I want to re-read it before the movie comes out, and since it is one of my favorites I figure I should own it.
*Italian Phrase-a-day desk calendar ... you know to brush up on my Italiano
* The Keri Hilson CD ... don't hate me cuz I'm b e a u t i f u l
* Going the Distance ... amazingly adorable and hysterical movie

Happy Thursday, It's almost Christmas!!

Oh...PS...have I mentioned lately how fantastic my boyfriend is? Even when he is far away, he is the best.
I heart you michael jeffrey.

Baby Hedgehog.

Jeffrey and I were talking about this the other day... I think I would really enjoy having a baby hedgehog. I think Coop would like it too.
Does this not melt your heart?
I am in l.o.v.e.
I think if I got a baby hedgehog I would name it Marco. That seems like a fitting name for a dashing young hedgehog.

On a different note, I had an incredibly random dream last night. My dad was driving me to school and we drove past a church "yard" sale. So we stopped and loaded up on all kinds of goodies. I got Vera Bradley patterned cups, plates and bowls. I got Disney Princess coffee mugs and Indianapolis Colts place mats. Why am I dreaming about kitchen things? Maybe I need to get myself some new cups, bowls and plates?

{...maybe it's because I can not wait to move to a new place, maybe even a new city next year! Yes, actually I am very excited for what the next couple of months will bring...}

Grades came out yesterday...I did alright...this semester was pretty hard for me. But I snuck away with a 3.0 which is decent, I suppose. Maybe I need to work less and study more? Maybe I need to sleep less and study more? IDK...but this is my first semester in many semesters not making the dean's list and that is kind of a bummer. Senioritis got the best of me.

Today I have to do the last of my Christmas shopping, do some wrapping and pack up all my laundry for the Laundry Fairy. Then tomorrow I work half day, get my nails did, and gggoooo hooommmeee!!!!
Yeah, I am a tad excited to go home.

Happy Wednesday
4 days until Christmas.
10 Days until I see Jeffrey!

Happy Tuesday.
Only 5 days until Christmas!

Since last Thursday I have tried to watch Despicable Me not once, but twice! The first time I only saw about six minutes of the movie until I fell asleep. I tried to watch it again yesterday, and only saw an additional half and hour before I dozed off in to a much needed nap. From what I saw it seems like a cute movie, but it just puts me right to sleep.

I also recently watched The Town and oh.my.goodness it was good.
Real good.
Ben Affleck was dreamy as usual and his Boston accent is to die for.

Anyways....
My boyfriend went home to Chicago for Christmas break today. :(  :(  :(  :(
So I am a little sad. I am making a pouty face right now.

Have a Happy Tuesday.

12 Blog Posts in one....get ready.

Finals and school are finally over!
After almost a week of non-stop paper writing and studying I am finally done.
In the course of four days I wrote one seven page paper, one ten page paper, and one 21 single spaced beast/bitch of a paper. That's a lot of words.
It was painful, but I am so glad it is all done and over with. I don't know what kind of grades I got on the two short papers, but I got an A on my big one!! Woohoo!!! And I only cried once over it all. YAY me!
Now only one more semester to go! That freaks me out, but it's also exciting.
It's almost Christmas!
I love Christmas. I love all the fun traditions that come along with Christmas...well except for the music, I hate Christmas music. Barf.  But I love baking cookies, going to parties, seeing my family, the tree, and of course waking up early Christmas morning to open presents! I am twenty-two years old and I am still always so giddy on Christmas Eve. I get a terrible night's sleep because I am always checking the time, I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I will forever be a seven year old girl at heart when it comes to Christmas. C:

Look at our beautiful Christmas tree.
Even though it is filled with EVERY SINGLE Christmas ornament my brother and I made in preschool and elementary school, it is still gorgeous. My mom is the best Christmas tree decorator ever. She puts pretty poinsettia's on the tree, which ties it all together and makes is beautiful! I will say, it's almost time to put the box of Elmer's glued ornaments away forever. Branden and I are big kids now. But I still love it. I always get a good chuckle every time I pull one out, my brother and I were not the best crafters as children. In fact...we sucked.
I also love our Christmas tree because every year my brother and I get a new ornament, it is personalized and has something to do with us directly. My parents put a lot of thought into our new ornament and I love it. The ornament present is one of my favorite presents to open.
And our tree is the best because Christmas presents under it. A lot of people I know don't do this until Christmas...like everything is from Santa. That's weird to me. Presents have always gone under our tree right away. Plus, I love to browse through them all and give mine a good shake. Yes, I told you, I am seven years old.

This is a terrible picture, grandma wasn't ready.
But check out the new jersey. LOVE>

I went to Indy this past weekend to see my Grandpa, my Grandma, and to attend my mom's side of the family's Christmas party. And my Grandma got me the best gift everrrr. A new Peyton Manning Jersey! My old one has gotten a lot of use, it was time for an upgrade! So with the luck of my new jersey, the Colts won this weekend! ....but next weekend they play my second team; the Raiders... eeee I hate to see the Raiders lose, but I guess it's gonna happen. The Colts need to win! And the Colts will always be my #1.

Well I have a lot more to blog about...but I am at work...so that means I should work? Right? Yes.
I hate busy Mondays.
But Happy Monday, nonetheless.

Someone like you.

Yesterday Jeffrey and I watched Charlie St. Cloud. It was pretty good, a little depressing, but overall it was cute.
Look at how cute this girl is. She had the cutest wardrobe through the whole movie. And in the end she and Zac sailed off into the sunset (or something cheesy like that) wearing the most adorable white outfits.
I think Jeffrey and I are going to move to wherever they lived (Oregon, Washington?) and be the cutest sailing couple ever. We will wear boat shoes and coordinating outfits and it will be lovely. :)

That's all.
Happy Monday.

Letters.

Dear July,

I miss you.
Only 8 more months until I can bask in your wonderfulness again.

Until then,

Kati.

Dear Snow,

You make me gag. I hate everything about you. I don't even like to look at you in pictures.

Please go away and never come back.

Warmly...so you'll melt,

Kati.

Dear Wendy's,

I love your new hand cut & sea salted french fires. I also love your spicy chicken nuggets.
I am so in love that I think it is becoming a problem. I have eaten at your establishment three days in a row.

XoXo,

Kati.

Dear Cozy Banana Republic Sweater,

Thank you for being so warm and comfortable. I wore you yesterday for the first time this season, and decided to wear you again today. You make me so happy. I even love that I don't have to wear pants with you, because you are just that perfect. You know that I hate pants. Especially when I eat Wendy's three days in a row.

Snuggles,

Kati.

Dear Senior Year,

You are going by WAY to fast. Yes, I am excited to be done, but I am also a little frightened. So please...slow your roll. Just a little.

Thanks,

Kati.

Dear Jeffrey,

I can not wait to get off work and see you.

And you are wicked hott.

A random collection of catching up...in no particular order...

1. Jeffrey met the parents.
It went very well. I was pleased. My parent's liked him. Even though I was super embarrassing and said some naughty things. I have made a new rule for myself...no more drinking with my parents until I learn to keep secrets.

2. Thanksgiving
Instead of the usual "Nice, girl, niiiiceee" phrase it was "Fat, girl, faaaattt". As I stuffed my face with all the deliciousness that Thanksgiving has to offer. Super yummy deep fried turkey, ham, dumplings, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac.n.cheese, rolls...mmmm ssooo good! Followed by pie, pie, pie, and some no bake pb dessert :) And almost a week later I am still having to squeeze into my jeans. I am not thankful for that.

3. School
I have yet another 75 minute presentation to give today. Thanks Dr.Kasch. You really are amazing. I also have 3 very long papers to write.

4. My birthday.
Yep. I am officially old now. I'm 22 a week and a day old. Eh, I guess it's kind of cool. Kind of weird to grasp though, I'm 22. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks about these things. And I got an fabulous coach purse! I am so loved..and a little spoiled.

Love.

5. My favorite thing in the whole world.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. 2010. AMAZING. I would give anything to have Alesasndra's body. All the Angels are amazingly gorgeous, so confident and sexy. Maybe I should stop eating so much pizza and drinking so much beer and start eating celery sticks and drink more water...maybe I should also hit the gym?
The show last night was g.r.e.a.t. though.
Even though I was sad though that Heidi didn't do anything. I thought for sure she would make a guest appearance.

I.heart.her.
Happy Wednesday.
Happy Pay Day!
