Leap Year Babies?

Just a little thought that is keeping me from completing my homework...that and youtube.

When would a leap year baby celebrate their birthday?
On Feb. 28 or March 1?
Or at Midnight between the two days?

All I know is...I am glad to not be a leap year baby...I am wacko about my birthday, I love it so much!
My next birthday will be my golden birthday! Woohoo!
That means I get gold right? : ) I sure hope so!

My 20th birthday...seems like so long ago! 

Anyways...happy last day of February.

My momma is coming up for lunch today! I am s u p e r excited, it has been a while since I have seen her! 

Happy Saturday, Happy Weekend! 

Sometimes I am grouchy and mean.
When I get grouchy and mean, I tend to stay like that for the whole day.
This morning I woke up on the better side of grouchy after a stupid night of rotten sleep.
I thought I had pulled myself out of this terrible state, but with a pounding headache, a pony-tail pulled to tight and a busy morning at work, my mood has stuck with me.

I am hoping that I change my attitude....because I have a long night ahead of me.
I am going to the casino river boat with my sorority pledge class tonight.
I am excited and also not excited for this...
I am excited, because it will be fun to hang out with my girl friend
I am not excited because sono al verde. (my phrase of the day, and it's perfect...I'm broke!)
I am also excited because I usually let my attitude control everything...so tonight I am bound and determined to have fun.
But I am not excited...because I am already grouchy.
Erg.

Kids are funny.
One of my roommates is student teaching right now and she is always coming home with funny stories to share.
So she sent me this today...kid wrote SHIT on his paper. nice.
I want to be a teacher just for the funnies.

Do you remember Kids Say the Darnedest Things. Hosted by Bill Cosby? I loved that show. I have been wanting to watch the new show hosted by Heidi Klum, Seriously Funny Kids. But I haven't had time yet.

I love a great pair of jeans just as much as the next girl.

But to be honest, if I never wore a pair of pants again I would be A-OKAY!

Every day I try and find away to not wear pants...I wear leggings as often as possible, but I only have so many long shirts that ensure my whoha is covered up nicely.

So, like I have said over and over again...I am moving to North Carolina this summer...and I couldn't be more excited.

Yes, I am excited to move away, start a new adventure, and be a big girl...but mostly I am excited to not wear pants!

I want to wear dresses and skirts every single day!

The Lovely Roses Jeffrey Got Me

I love flowers, love more than any other material thing in the world.
I love having them on my bedside table so I can smell them, and see them out of the corner of my eye.
They brighten up my room and make me so happy!

VALENTINE'S DAY!
Yesterday was a really really great day.
Started out at work, just a normal day.
Then class.
Sad that Jeffrey skipped our one class we have together...ON VALENTINE'S DAY!
Then after my astronomy class (at 6:45...ugh!) the valentine's day love could begin!

My hunny made me dinner...and I made dessert.

And the BEST part about baking...is licking the spoon!
mmmmm.

Unfortunately I can not tell you if my cheesecake was delicious or not...because I haven't eaten it yet.
Jeffrey made me the most delicious dinner of all time and I was STUFFED.
So the cheesecake was neglected.

Jeffrey and I sat at the kitchen table and enjoyed a pretty romantic dinner.

Ps...those are not my flowers. They are Kerry's. :) 

(Jeffrey got me beautiful pink/salmon roses. They are so beautiful. Like so beautiful.)

And I can not say enough how delicious dinner was, I brought the leftovers to work with me today for lunch.

But after a big plate of carbs, I was ready for bed! We started watching a movie and that last thing I remember was saying "just give me five minutes and I'll go get the cheesecake." next thing I remember Jeffrey is turning off the TV, because the movie was over and it was 12:30.

OOPS. Sometimes I am just so sleepy! I am not good at staying up late, or watching a movie while laying in bed; and honestly...I don't think I ever will be. I'm just a little old lady.

I'm a pretty lucky lady

Last night I was able to accompany the sexiest man to his semi-formal.
We looked hot...even though I only took ONE picture.
Gosh...I hate that!
We tore up what little dance floor we could.
And we had a blast together like ALWAYS.
I am super lucky to have the most amazing boyfriend ever.

This morning I woke up pretty early....on my day to sleep in, I was up at 7:15.
Maybe it's because I knew that I have tons to do today, and I couldn't be lazy and sleep until 10:30.
So I woke up, cleaned a little bit, went tanning, and then treated myself to a Starbucks.
A VENTI white chocolate mocha....with 2% milk and whip.
Yeah that's a uber treat...so oh well if I can't fit into my dress this weekend.
Sad news is I now have less than $2 on my SB gift card that Jeffrey gave me a while back.

While I do love a good Starbucks every now and again, I will ALWAYS be a dunkin' girl :) 

So.today.is.going.to.be.kinda.busy. 

I have a counseling appt. at 11:30...so until then, I have WORK very hard on a presentation that I have to give at 3:00 today. 

Have I mentioned how I have the worst case of senioritis? I do. I have to give a 20 minute presentation on a case study...and give my recommendations on how to "fix it" as if I were a consultant. Well all I have done is read the case. 

So here is hoping I get it done. 

The thing that I am most dreading though, is my trek across campus in dress clothes and heels. Why do professors always make us dress up for presentations. HELLO IT'S 3 DEGREE's OUTSIDE! Let me wear jeans and boots, I promise I will wear a cardigan and look nice...Urggg. 

But after this presentation I am free from school work until Sunday, when I have a group project for my event planning class...which is the dumbest class ever btw. 

Alright Alright...guess I'll get started on this case.

Me OH my!

So ya wanna know what made me vomit this morning?
My boss made me vomit this morning.
He tends to over share....once told me he was sending his kids to stay with Grandma for the night...because he was taking his lady friend on their thrid date...UM VOMIT!
So ya...things like that happen around the office ever so often.
This morning was one of those mornings.
Bossman called a Hotel, was talking to the front desk man, I wasn't really paying much attention because I was working. But then something caught my attention...and this my friends, is where is get's ugly.
"Yes, I would like a king size bed. And do you have any rooms available with a jacuzzi tub?" 
UUHHH HELLO?!?! Employee ears over here...you, bossman, are only a few feet away.
I'm not sharing my saucy Valentines Day plans with you...so please do not accidentally share yours with me.
So that is what made me vomit this morning.

In other news, it's Wednesday, we are half way through the week!

So I chewed off all my finger nails this weekend because I was super irritated. And Lynn was able to get me in this afternoon and I got a fresh new set of nails put on. I feel like a lady again! I got them painted one of my favorite colors too...OPI's You Don't Know Jaques.

Day 3 of the snow day!

The snow outside my house!

Since Tuesday I have just been lazy!
Did absolutely nothing yesterday, and nothing today either!
It has been nice, real nice! 

Jeff and I are watching Winter Bones and The A-Team today, so just another lazy day!

But on a separate note, I just want to take a second to remember my Grandpa today.
Three years ago today he lost a heart breaking battle to lung cancer.
When he was diagnosed the cancer had already taken over his body.
He had two months after that.
I still miss him more than words.

Every memory I have of you means the world to me.
But it also means the world to me that you are happy and healthy in Heaven.

I love you Grandpa.

Didn't mean for that to get somber.

Snow Day!!!

Eeekk it's blizzarding outside!
They are calling for a lot of snow today and tonight.
I'm at work right now, but I have my fingers crossed that bossman will close the office any minute now!

The snowflakes are to little to see, but they are flurrying around everywhere!


So hopefully I am off to the bank, the grocery store and then putting on sweats and cuddling up close with Jeffrey.
