Weekend Recap!

Jeff and I had a great-ish weekend!

Saturday morning I had to work. :( But it really wasn't so bad; and afterall I only work one Saturday a month for a hand full of hours. I set up a State Farm booth at a family fun fair my aunt's company was hosting.  It was such a gorgeous day to be outside, I was thankful not to be in the office. I didn't do a whole lot of selling or promoting, I felt a little awkward...but it was nice to just sit in the sunshine, I even dragged Jeff out with me so I would have some company! 

Saturday night was a blast.  Jeff and I went to dinner with my cousin and his fabulous girlfriend, Jessica, who I loooove so much!  We had a great time all night, until Jeff and Matt managed to put themselves in the dog house by being stupid boys!  Overall though we had a great time playing games and drinking a tad too much....which brings us to the next part of the weekend.

Jeff and I had planned all week to go to Kings Island, only one of my favorite places on Earth!  It's an amusement park in Cincinnati.  With the weekend being so nice we decided it was probably our last chance to go this season.  Well Jeff's little drunk behind was sssooo hungover.  We were there for only a hand full of hours and only rode 5 rides before we had to go :(   I was bummed and semi pissed. 

But there is always next season....right? 

I wish I had to pictures to upload...because I DID TAKE SOME!  But did not have my memory card in my camera, so they are stuck on my camera...and my camera cord is at my parents house.  OOPS!  That's what I get for trying to take pictures right?

I hope you all had a great weekend too, and that none of your boyfriends got put in the dog house. But if they did, I hope they sent flowers like mine did!  Sometimes boys suck but sometimes they are really great.

Tuesday Outfit Post

Hey all - since I am back in full blogging action that means I'm back with a Tuesday outfit post.

With this outfit post comes a little coversation about the weather....I don't mind the fall, I really don't...but I hate the weather ups and downs.  If you know me you know that I am a summer girl.  I love the heat, the sunshine and the humidity; but I also throughoughly enjoy a brisk fall day.  What I hate is the bitter freezing cold of winter. YUCK.  So you would think Fall would be my favorite season...last Saturday it was brisk a cool day, but today it is 75 and sunny.  NO - I do not like that.  It confuses me and my wardrobe, what I make for dinner, how I wear my hair, what time I wake up, if I work out or not, everything!  I wish fall would be fall - end of story. 
Does anyone else feel like a weirdo for craving crockpot dinners and big cozy sweaters - but you end up wearing wearing a t-shirt and eating a sandwich?  Or am I the only weird one? Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for the nice days, I know they will soon be few and far between, I just don't like change.  My little heart can not handle a handful of gorgoeous days followed by yucky days! 

Anyways here are a few past outfits since my absence....

A date night outfit.  Jeff and I went out for a casual dinner at Margaritaville and out to the movies. 

I wore leggings, black boots to my knees, a long white tank, a plaid button up and a grey cardy.

Weird face - it was sunny okay?  This was one of those perfect fall days, it was a crisp 60ish degrees, the sun was shining and I wore a big cozy sweater, a super soft long sleeve T and my boots.  I love outfits like this! Perfect day at the zoo and a fun outfit! 

But here is my today outfit...woke up a little later than usual this morning and it's a weird weather day, so I am a little bland today.

What are your favorite shows?

So with the new season comes a new season and batch of TV shows!  I happen to be a lazy TV junky, so this new season makes me especially happy.  Jeff and I have been watching every new show (thanks to DVR and lots of lazy nights!).  We are deciding what our favorites are and which ones we don't really care for, but it's still too early to decide.

Here are the front runners...

Revenge -  ABC.  
Jeff and I were unsure of this one at first. We recorded it just because we had to see what it was all about and we were quickly captivated by the story line.  I am waiting to see how this story unfolds.

New Girl -  Fox
With the lovey Zooey Deschanel I knew this one was a must watch.  Turns out it is hilarious.  Jess (Deschanel) is outrageous, funky and quirky....and lives with three boys she just met.  This show is bound to deliver laughs.

The Playboy Club - NBC
I was the one that pushed on having this show DVR'd.  But once we watched it both Jeff and I liked it.  Like Revenge  I am interested to see how this story unfolds.

The not so front runners...

Free Agents - NBC
This one annoys the heck out of me.  I can not stand the main female character (Kathryn Hahn) and the story line is also annoying.

Two Broke Girls - CBS
I don't know how this show is going to progress.  Not totally ruling it out yet but I certainly am not waiting on a new show every week.

Up All Night - NBC
Major let down here.  Still hanging on to see if it will get any better but I just don't see it happening.

We have yet to watch Whitney  or Pan Am ...
And of course we have our classic favorites, How I Met Your Mother - CBS and my favorites Greys & Private Practice - ABC

I'm back!

Hi All!  I have unintentionally taken a short break from blogging, but I am going to make a better effort.   But with my new job I find that I work all the time....in college I would do most of my blogging from work and same with my summer job (terrible I know...) but now I just work work work work work...all day!  Then I come home and just don't feel like even touching the computer.  Being out of college I don't really have any pressing e-mail I need to tend to, so there is hardly any reason to check my e-mail more than once a day.  But I am going to make a better effort to blog, because I really enjoy it and I hope you do too!

I got mango froyo with pineapple and raspberries! So delish!
