What are your favorite shows?

So with the new season comes a new season and batch of TV shows!  I happen to be a lazy TV junky, so this new season makes me especially happy.  Jeff and I have been watching every new show (thanks to DVR and lots of lazy nights!).  We are deciding what our favorites are and which ones we don't really care for, but it's still too early to decide.

Here are the front runners...

Revenge -  ABC.  
Jeff and I were unsure of this one at first. We recorded it just because we had to see what it was all about and we were quickly captivated by the story line.  I am waiting to see how this story unfolds.

New Girl -  Fox
With the lovey Zooey Deschanel I knew this one was a must watch.  Turns out it is hilarious.  Jess (Deschanel) is outrageous, funky and quirky....and lives with three boys she just met.  This show is bound to deliver laughs.

The Playboy Club - NBC
I was the one that pushed on having this show DVR'd.  But once we watched it both Jeff and I liked it.  Like Revenge  I am interested to see how this story unfolds.

The not so front runners...

Free Agents - NBC
This one annoys the heck out of me.  I can not stand the main female character (Kathryn Hahn) and the story line is also annoying.

Two Broke Girls - CBS
I don't know how this show is going to progress.  Not totally ruling it out yet but I certainly am not waiting on a new show every week.

Up All Night - NBC
Major let down here.  Still hanging on to see if it will get any better but I just don't see it happening.

We have yet to watch Whitney  or Pan Am ...
And of course we have our classic favorites, How I Met Your Mother - CBS and my favorites Greys & Private Practice - ABC

I'm back!

Hi All!  I have unintentionally taken a short break from blogging, but I am going to make a better effort.   But with my new job I find that I work all the time....in college I would do most of my blogging from work and same with my summer job (terrible I know...) but now I just work work work work work...all day!  Then I come home and just don't feel like even touching the computer.  Being out of college I don't really have any pressing e-mail I need to tend to, so there is hardly any reason to check my e-mail more than once a day.  But I am going to make a better effort to blog, because I really enjoy it and I hope you do too!
 I have a hand full of good blogs coming up in the near future. Anyways onto my favorite PINS of the weeks!

Friday Pins!

Happy Friday Saturday morning all.  This week just flew by....I feel like I say that every week these days.  I have been sssoo busy at work and now I have this fabulous apartment and boy to take care of and tend to!

What did you wear Tuesday?

Didn't wear anything fun or special today.  But I went to dinner with a friend of mine and it was super hot, so shorts and tank for me it was!

Pretty simple day over here.  It was too hot for anything else! 

I went to dinner with a friend of mine and after we went for some FroYo at Red Mango!

I got mango froyo with pineapple and raspberries! So delish! 

That's all...I am exhausted.  It has been a long couple of days for me.

Remember

10 years ago our country was brutally attacked and crushed by pure hatred.  September 11, 2001 is a day that I will never forget.  I was sitting in art class when the first plane hit then moved to choir class when the towers fell.  School was let out early that day and I went home to find my mom in hysterics.  My little family in central Indiana was shocked and in pure disbelief.  While sad for the people who were directly affected by this terrible event we had someone else on our mind...my dad. What was this going to mean for him?  My dad at the time was stationed in Korea with the US Army. My dad was a soldier.  What was going to happen next?  Was he going to be able to come home - would he go to war - when would he go - what would he do?  As a twelve-year old girl my heart was broken when I watched the towers falls. To hear the stories of the families that lost loved ones.  To wonder what would come next.  

My dad did go to war.  He went to war for eleven months and eight days.  He served and fought hard in the US Military with many other brave men and women.  To my dad and to the many other soldiers, to the first responders and  to those who heroically gave their lives to save others and our country; I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Thank you for serving our country.  I have always been a proud child of America, but for the past ten years I have been extremely proud to call myself an American and an Army Brat.

Friday Pins

I can not tell you how uninspired I have been with out pinterest the past few weeks.  I am quite happy to have it back <3  Here is a fresh new set of my favorite pins from the week morning.

Lately I have been drawn to the whole rustic/elegant look.  The exposed beams, the chandelier style lighting, the white down comforter, the grey, it all makes my heart beat a little faster.

Back!!

Woohoo finally got internet up and rolling at the apartment! Speaking of the apartment, Jeff and I are in love with it.  The management company totally blows, but that's for another day.  We are head over heels in love with out super cute and grown up apartment.

We had super awesome seats and had a blast at the game!

We went to the first Butler game of the season and nearly melted to death.  The heat index was 130 degrees. So hot, but a fun time! 

We went out and had a good time and a silly bar.  The Wild Beaver.  Yeah...if that doesn't mean a good time, I don't know what does.
