Guilty Pleasure

I was watching How I Met Your Mother - a favorite show of mine - the other night.  Ted was going to Love Solutions to hopefully find his soul mate.  He discovered that he and an engaged woman had a great love score and they shared the same guilty pleasure song.
That got me thinking...I have the WORST guilty pleasure songs... included are;

 Spice Girls - Wannabe  (YES, I will forever and ever be a fan of the Spice Girls...like I say, Spice for Life)
 Jewel - You Were Meant For Me. (A good ballad is good for the soul.)

I am not the biggest Nicki Minaj fan...in fact I generally can not stand the weird ways she sings.  But this song is constantly stuck in my head, when it comes on my body just wiggles to it and folks, I am obsessed!

I also recently bought Adele's, 21, and Jason Aldean's, My Kinda Party.
Both albums are incredible and I highly recommend checking them out!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Amazon?
Well, I LOVE Amazon. So on Monday I pre-ordered Rihanna's new CD Loud, and I also ordered Taio Cruz's Rokstarr. I got them both yesterday! It was great. And I love how I am probably the last person on Earth to still be buying CD's...but I like to have something to hold. I hate spending my money on things that I can't really see or hold or play with. ha. Like gas....maybe that's why my gas light is always on?

I also have two stupid tests today. uughhh. They brought on many tears last night while I was trying to study. For some reason this semester I am just bad at school, I am not real sure what's going on, but I need to stop and get focused or finals are kick my butt.

Luckily my boyfriend ( love that ) is wonderful and made me feel all better. He wasn't even scared off by my puffy eyes and snotty nose. Thanks boyfriend.

I am just waiting for the weekend. Friday is chi-o formal and I think Saturday will be my birthday celebration! EeeKkk...my birthday is on Tuesday!!! Gotta enjoy my last few days as a crazy 21 year old.

I love music. I could listen to music all day every day. I have a million favorite songs, it seems like every time I hear a song, I think to myself...YES this is my favorite song, and then I turn it up and sing along terribly. And they usually all come from the 90's or early 2000's. Puke I know. I just listened to great music when I was little, and I could never let go. I still own and listen to the very first CD's I ever got. Jewel-Pieces of You and The Wallflowers-Bringing down the Horse. Yeah, gay, I know.

Did you know it's freezing outside?

So I visited Butler and IUPUI on Friday. I LOVED them both so much. They are two completely different schools and both appeal to me in so many ways. Butler appeals to my small town girl side; while IUPUI appeals to my city girl side. It's amazing how these two schools, seven miles apart can be so different. Can't wait to see where this takes me.

And I love going to Indy because I get to be in land of the Colts and get all kind of new colts gear! So I bought a really sexy new 87 jersey..it's black. sexy. But guess who can't wear it today because they boys sucked it up yesterday. They also fucked my confidence picks. Gave them all 14 points. So boys, take the week to relax, practice, come back next Sunday and kick the shit out of KC. That would be great.

Okay, I had an awesome weekend. Went to the bars on Friday with my fantastic friends, and danced the night away. Pocket dialed my mom and 1:30 a.m....she told me she liked the song she could hear so she listened for a while. ha. First we went to Cams and it was dead! There were seriously 20 people there...they all happened to be our friends so we stayed and danced until closing. For some time Kate and I were the only ones on the dance floor. Totally my kind of night. Then we headed to Sullys for more dancing then off to the WONDERFUL Richards where Kate and I ate a whole Sampler by our selves. Fat kids. Got home at 4:30. Wild.

Woke up Saturday at 9:00 because Brandon left his work shirt at my house and needed it. Went back to sleep at 10:00 and woke up at 1:00. PERFECT. Looked like a super hot mess but needed food. Went to Schnucks for mac n cheese before I washed my face. gross. Then lounged on the couch with my roommates and watched movies.

Brandon and I went to best buy before meeting up with some friends for dinner. And I got the best new CD's ever...(can you tell I really love to buy CD's? This is my 6th CD Since last month!)

I got this wicked awesome, yes wicked awesome CD. It's Rock Symphonies by David Garrett. I saw it and thought this looks cool, then flipped it over to check out the track list, #1 is Smells like Teen Spirit (which is one of my all time favorite songs). I was sold. Right there. Bought it and it's fantastic.



Isn't he totally bad ass? He is.

I also got the 2nd Foo Fighters CD, The Colour and Shape

It's a great album. And one time I touched Dave Grohl's butt.

It was nice.

And The Goo Goo Dolls Greatest Hits

LOVE them.

Such a happy girl! I love buying CD's. Music is probably my favorite thing ever. I can't wait to pack for Puerto Rico tonight with some good music on in the background!

I was a total zombie this morning.

No dancing, limited singing, I didn't even have the energy to make coffee.

Yeah...rough morning.

A morning with out dancing is hardly a morning at all.

Clearly I am not allowed to stay up past midnight.

Instead of playing the usual Girl Talk or something upbeat on my Itouch as I prepared for the day I played Wisely.

I had a GREAT Weekend.

I am in love with the Chicago Skyline.

But now it's back to the hustle and bustle of the week. This week will be pretty packed. I have work, classes, the first chapter of the year (woo!) A TEST (...who the hell gives a test in the first week?) and RECRUITMENT!!!!!! I love recruitment. One week from today we will have little baby Chi Omegas! I can not wait!

AND I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE SONG...aside from Nelly's! Katy Perry's Teenage Dream. Love it. Love her.

I heard it like 2079 times on the radio on my drive back from Chicago. Perfect.

I am making marshmallows tonight....hope it goes well!?!

I love lazy days. 

After the long Saturday I had and Wedding Season about to kick off into full swing (until October!) I need a lazy day. It's almost 2:00 and I just got out the shower, I love that! 

Me & Baby Jack when he was 11 months. 

Went to Chicago (Gurnee)  yesterday for baby Jack's 4th birthday! Can't believe he is 4 already! I remember when he was just  a baby! 

But after sitting in traffic for what seemed to be forever we got to Chuck E Cheese! It was fun, there were tons of little kids and I really wanted to take a nap, but it was a good day. 

We even made a pit stop at Ikea on the way home! YAY. I love Ikea! I got a couple little things, it's hard to go crazy when my debit card is lost in the mail. (UGH!) But I got some goodies for my office, will show later. We finally got home around 9:30, and yeah, you better believe I went straight to bed. 

And today I am doing nothing...not one single thing. I watched my boyfriend, Ben Affleck, on TV. Armageddon was on. it makes me cry every single time I watch it, but I love it oh so much! And now I am about to finish up season six of Entourage and maybe watch The Hangover too.  : )

I am still swooning over "I like it" by Enrique Iglesias.

Every time it comes on I can't help but wiggle my hips. And I looooove getting phone calls because it is my ring tone! :) Not sure which I love more my ring tone or text tone, I get a little chuckle every time my phone yells "Lllloyddd!" Oh Entourage, I think you complete me. :) 

Butterfly's, goose bumps, feeling like a bad ass, complete happiness and sore toes.

That sums up my weekend.

It totally kicked some major ass. Aubrey & Matt got married this weekend and they were my first clients all my own! I have worked for So Chic for 3 weddings seasons. It has been so much fun, and I was super excited when Aubrey asked me to help her with her big day! I was so nervous the days before. But once my adrenaline kicked in, I was unstoppable. I got everyone lined up, cued the music, sent everyone down the aisle, straightened the brides train, gave her big smile and said, "you can go now!".

The ceremony was short and sweet, it was really lovely. After the ceremony I cleaned up and headed over to cocktail hour, checked out the reception, drank a much needed Pepsi and waited for the bridal party (who were all so fantastic, helpful, gorgeous, and fun!) to come and get the party started. These people sure do know how to party. The guys had some sweet moves and the parents too!  Every one was so happy. The bride and groom were just radiating happiness and love. It was perfect.

After wearing my close-toed heels for 12 hours my toes were killing me and my perfectly painted toe nails were ruined. Still two days after my toes hurt, well just my big toe (eww...this is so weird, toes, big toes, gross.) but whatever, it is bruised. Can you believe that!

Sonny

I got Sonny back today. Even though I totally loved driving my mom's Sonny this weeked. Her Sonny is new and sporty and has all the fancy features. But I am still happy to have my little lady car back. The final repair bill was $520
