YAY!!

After a little bit of digging and searching I found that my camera cord was indeed in my apartment and not at my parents house!  YAY!  That means I do have access to my pictures from this weekend!

 So happy that I finally took a few pictures from a fun weekend, aren't ya'll proud of me?   I sure am!

Sometimes I am grouchy and mean.
When I get grouchy and mean, I tend to stay like that for the whole day.
This morning I woke up on the better side of grouchy after a stupid night of rotten sleep.
I thought I had pulled myself out of this terrible state, but with a pounding headache, a pony-tail pulled to tight and a busy morning at work, my mood has stuck with me.

I am hoping that I change my attitude....because I have a long night ahead of me.
I am going to the casino river boat with my sorority pledge class tonight.
I am excited and also not excited for this...
I am excited, because it will be fun to hang out with my girl friend
I am not excited because sono al verde. (my phrase of the day, and it's perfect...I'm broke!)
I am also excited because I usually let my attitude control everything...so tonight I am bound and determined to have fun.
But I am not excited...because I am already grouchy.
Erg.

Jeffrey and I went to O'Charlies for dinner before the Rascal Flatts concert.
I had two delicious tangerine margarita's. Mmmm they were very yummy!

After the concert Jeff and I met up with Jessica and we went to one of my favorite bars in Champaign...Seven Saints.
I got my all time favorite drink, the unnamed cucumber drink. I have been begging the bar tenders to name it after me. It is uber delicious.

I don't know why I am looking like a corpse, but a drink garnished with a cucumber...yeah I am totally in.

After that I had the bartenders make me a Totanka...which tastes just like applesauce. YUMM!

Holy Smokes is 2010 really coming to a close? Why is is that years just flash by? How can a Monday drag on for ages but a year can just come and go in a blink of an eye?  I'll never understand.

Here is my 2010 recap...
* The Colts went to the Superbowl...but sadly lost.

* I started my blog!
* I got licensed to sell Insurance in the state of IL and had to make a sign to motivate myself to study. Insurance is hard!

* I danced the night away at The American Cancer Society Disco Gala that I helped plan

* Ran Sonny out of gas...TWICE.
* Said goodbye to my Sweet Penelope.

* Spent a week in Mississippi volunteering with my Church
* Moved into a house with my best friends

* Worked more than any 21 year old should
* Planned alot of weddings
* Spontaneously got my cartilage pierced one morning

* Had my first of many panic attacks
* Started my Senior Year at BU wearing this..cried and had a panic attack that day.  

* Taught a Sunday school class for kindergartners and first graders
* Went to Puerto Rico with my Momma for some much needed girls time
* Ended a five year relationship
*  Visited Graduate Schools
* Applied Here

* Met the man of my dreams

* Made a snap decision to pierce my Tagus

* Went to my First COLTS game!

* Turned 22!
* Went to my first Blackhawks game!
* Started my 2nd blog

All in all I suppose 2010 was a good year!
I laughed alot, cried alot, traveled alot, worked alot, loved alot, prayed alot, sang alot, danced alot, took some chances and lived alot.
I over came some challenges and grew as a person.
I can not wait to see what 2011 has in store for me!

Dear Katy Smithy,

I love you more than words. You have been my best friend, partner in crime and coffee mate for the past almost 3 years. I remember the day I met you, I was so mad. I just knew we were going to be enemies, I mean hell we were both competing to be the better wedding planner, and you have your shit together! haha. But little did I know that our first wedding at the Gateway Building would be the start of something very very beautiful. We talked about love and life and some crazy ex-lovers all while setting silverware on tables and chatting with the candy lady. We were a match made in heaven. Then you left me for a whole semester and I was very sad. Then you came back into my life and NOTHING changed! The summer of 2009 was our summer. I will cherish our memories for ever. Singing and dancing...you singing LOUD, me dancing crazily. Laughing and being obnoxious, I love it. I love YOU!

Well, now you have grown up. You are a REAL grown up now. You have a big girl job in the city..IN THE CITY, how cool. You have to wake up at a decent hour (I know that will be hard for you!) like grown ups do. Take the train to work and decorate your cubicle. I am totally jeal.

While I know our friendship is not over...DUH...I am totally going to miss you. I look forward to our hour long phone calls and Sangria nights.

Happy 25th wedding anniversary to my fantastic parents!

Hope you are having a wonderful time in Jamaica!

 Yesterday was kind of a crappy day. I woke up feeling really really yucky. I went to work in the grossest outfit, frizzy hair, and mascara. I looked as bad as I felt! Needless to say I did not make it the whole day. I went home at lunch and slept from 2-4:30. It was great...I woke up feeling much better and recharged!

Then I went to dinner with my lovely friends, Sara and Katy to have a 'good-bye' dinner for Katy. :(  

Katy got a job up in Chicago! YAY for her, sad for us.

The twinies came back from Vegas and brought me back some "escort" (hooker) cards and this coffee mug from the Bellagio! YAY I love coffee mugs. You know how people that travel a lot have that thing they always get when they go somewhere? Like some families get magnets or picture frames, t-shirts? Well I think my thing will be coffee mugs! I love them! Thanks Friends!

Weekend!

I had a really really nice weekend.

My best friend, Jessica, came to visit! We have been best friends since high school and went to different colleges, well everyone knows how that can go. It was a long distance relationship and was hard to keep in touch with our busy schedules. We both went different ways, made new friends and saw each other less and less. That sucked, but it's kind of how things work...but whenever we do see each other its like NOTHING ever changed! I love this girl so much, she truly is my best friend. She is thoughtful and fun, creative and unique. She is the best friend to me. While we do have our difference I don't know what friendship doesn't. She spent the past semester in Italy and we really had limited contact. I am so happy she came up here to visit me! I loved hearing all about her European adventures and her sexy new romance with a French man. She totally deserved that perfect semester over seas. I had the greatest day with her too! It was so refreshing to be around her. A true friend! Despite everything we have been through we are still BEST FRIENDS! I know she will always be there for me, and I am going to work harder to always be there for her too! Sometimes I need to work on my best friend skills.

Thanks for being my best friend! 

And today...today was nothing special. I was actually lazier than I was supposed to be. But  I did get some packing done, and furniture moved. Tomorrow I will be painting! Moving in 9 days! 

THIS weekend!

This weekend was a blast! I was up in Lake Geneva for Sigma Chi Formal.

Lake Geneva is beautiful...we stayed at The Grand Geneva which was probably far too classy for the frat guys and all the drinking that was going on. I would totally go back though, it was wonderful. Plus they had "sheet sandwiches"  a sheet sandwich is Brandon and I's favorite thing ever...we discovered it in Charleston this summer. It's a sheet, then a down comforter then another sheet! It's so crisp, cool and cozy...AAHH i love it! So we were happy with that!

We spent most of the weekend down at the indoor pool...since we were in Wisconsin it was pretty chilly out. The pool was fun.

 I have decided I need to start working out. immediately. There is a yoga video I want to get. It's like power yoga, something. Ill try it out.

Brandon and I really  had a great time hanging out with some of our best friends and just being college kids. We had no worries and no responsibilities. It was a nice break from the hell of school winding down.

The only bad thing about being gone for a whole weekend was having to leave Cooper behind. My house mate Kristi was Coop's bunny sitter. I missed him so much and was really happy to see him when I get back. He really needs a friend. He was too bored all weekend.

LAST weekend.

Last weekend (not this weekend...) was really awesome, for two reasons.

1. Chi Omega Semi-Formal.
     It was so much fun! I was hanging out with my favorite girls and guys just dancing the night away!
2. Friends from out of town!
    Three fantastic people from out of town...were in town! The fabulous Jason, Jack and Lyndsey! I love hanging out with them and I was super pumped to practically spend all day Saturday with them! We went to Chevy's for dinner and Lyndsey bought us all shots of Patron. I am a wicked lame shot taker, so that was an interesting experience. We had delicious margaritas and good food! Then we went to the bar. I love hanging out!

Shout Out!

I feel like I should be on TRL because I wanna give a shout out! To my friend Jon who has been reading my blog. Thanks bud!

Well I am officially on Spring Break!! Sadly I will be working everyday... so it won't be much of a break. But Brandon's Birthday is on MONDAY!! Soo soon. So I will only be working until 1:00 so I can go home and celebrate with him! I am so excited for my babe to turn 21! It's like I will finally be turning 21 too, even though I have been for almost 4 months!

I am excited though to have some down time from school, I am going to deeeeeep clean my room. And I mean deep clean, clean everything...even under my bed! Having my bunnies and no washer/dryer in the house my room can get a bit out of control. I dislike it very much. When my room is a mess, my life is a mess. I am also excited to read. I have TWO books I need to finish up.

What a weekend!

This weekend was a busy yet great weekend! Here is the play-by-play!

FRIDAY: Chi-O Kidnap. A date party. It was so much fun! We were dancin fools just having a great time. I didn't bring my camera, so I have no good photos to share.

SATURDAY: I went home. It was really nice to just go home and see my family. Dad bought me some more groceries, I will be eating like a queen for the next couple of weeks. They sent me two packages of food last week! I love it!

SUNDAY: So I have an internship as a wedding planner! It's so much fun. Yesterday we had a bridal show to attend in Bloomington. We were there passing out our sexy little magazine, Behind Every Bride, aka-BEB. We have a BEB traveling bridal show next Sunday. Should be really really exciting!  I love being a wedding planner, and I lovge haning out with  two of my favorite people, Sara and Katy! It's always a blast, never a dull moment with those two!

Today I am working a full day, but today is PAY DAY!!! Yippie! I love pay day! Tonight is also the Bachelor finale! I love Tenley. but rumor has it Jake will pick Vienna. Except I have a feeling he picks no one. That would great, because I would rather him pick no one than pick Vienna.

And one more thing...HOLY TAMOLE IT'S MARCH!?!?!? When did that happen? I love it though, I can already smell spring! It's so close! And Brandon's birthday countdown begins. 21 in 15 days! Woohoo!

Happy Thursday!

Thursday is my favorite day of the week and let me tell you why...

1. My favorite class is on Thursday, BMA 357, Business Leadership. So fun and different and my teacher is so enthusiastic and really loves what she does!
2. My favorite meeting is on Thursday. My meeting with best friend and "boss" Sara, for my wedding planning internship. It is seriously the best hour and half of my week. We just talk, and laugh and sometimes get work done. I love it!
3. My favorite shows are on TV! Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice! <3 I can just get lost in those shows, really helps me to relax and forget about everything.
4. No WORK! Thursday is my only day off work! I love the time to relax and do "me" things
